Terms and Conditions

1. Who We Are

  1. Prep4ThisRole (“we”, “us”, “Prep4ThisRole”) is operated by Pieter H C Reyneke, a sole proprietor trading as Prep4ThisRole, legally established in South Africa and operating internationally. References to “your coach” mean Pieter H C Reyneke or another coach engaged by Prep4ThisRole to deliver your session.
  2. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of prep4thisrole.com and any coaching session, package, or product you book through it. By booking a session or making a payment, you accept these Terms in full.

2. Our Services

  1. Prep4ThisRole provides live, one-to-one interview-skills coaching delivered by video call (currently Zoom), together with related written materials (for example a personalised mock-interview dossier). Services are aimed at working professionals preparing for a specific job interview and are not a general English-language course.
  2. Sessions, packages, and prices are as displayed on prep4thisrole.com or our booking calendar at the time of booking. We may update our services and pricing at any time; the price you are quoted at booking is the price that applies to that booking.
  3. We do not guarantee that coaching will result in a job offer or any specific interview outcome. Our commitment is to prepare you as thoroughly as possible for the interview you are practising for.

3. Eligibility

  1. Our services are intended for adults (18 years or older) preparing for professional or academic interviews. By booking, you confirm you are 18 or older.
  2. For a mock-interview or dossier product built around a specific job description, you confirm that any CV, job description, or company information you provide is accurate and that you are entitled to share it with us for this purpose.

4. Bookings, Payment and Rescheduling

  1. Bookings are made through our online calendar and paid for in advance via the payment methods offered there.
  2. Session times are shown in the time zone displayed at booking. It is your responsibility to attend at the correct local time; see our Refund and Cancellation Policy for what happens if you are late or do not attend.
  3. Cancellation, rescheduling, and refund terms are set out in our separate Refund and Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

5. Session Recording and Consent

  1. Sessions may be recorded for coaching quality, your own review, and record-keeping purposes only. By booking and paying for a session, you consent to that session being recorded, unless you tell your coach before the session begins that you do not want it recorded.
  2. Recordings are stored securely via our video platform’s cloud storage, are never sold or shared with third parties beyond those needed to deliver the service (see our Privacy Policy), and are deleted after the retention period stated in our Privacy Policy.
  3. If you do not consent to recording, you may still book a session; simply tell your coach at the start of the call and it will not be recorded.

6. Confidentiality

  1. We treat your CV, job description, target company, and anything you disclose during coaching as confidential. We will not share it with anyone outside Prep4ThisRole except a processor engaged to help deliver the service (for example our video or payment provider), and never for that processor’s own marketing purposes.
  2. Materials prepared specifically for you (for example a mock-interview dossier) are prepared for your use for the interview described at booking. If you wish to reuse the service for a different role or employer, this requires a new booking, as the preparation is specific to one job description.

7. Intellectual Property

  1. All coaching materials, frameworks, templates, and the mock-interview dossier format remain the intellectual property of Prep4ThisRole. You may use materials prepared for you for your own interview preparation, but may not resell, publish, or distribute them.
  2. Any CV, job description, or other document you provide to us remains your property.

8. Your Responsibilities

  1. You are responsible for having a stable internet connection, a working camera and microphone, and a quiet, private space for your session.
  2. Coaching is only as effective as the information you share with us. We are not responsible for outcomes affected by inaccurate or incomplete information you provide.

9. Limitation of Liability

  1. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Prep4ThisRole’s total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific session or package giving rise to the claim.
  2. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of employment opportunity, loss of income, or emotional distress, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.
  3. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

10. Third-Party Services

We rely on third-party providers to deliver our service, including Zoom (video calls and recording), PayPal (payment processing), WordPress.com (website hosting), FluentBooking/FluentCRM (scheduling and client communication), and Google (intake forms). Your use of these providers as part of our service is also subject to their own terms and privacy practices.

11. Force Majeure

Neither party is liable for failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including internet or platform outages, power failures, illness, or other unforeseeable events. Where we must cancel a session for such a reason, we will offer a free reschedule or full refund.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

  1. These Terms are governed by the law of the Republic of South Africa.
  2. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, either party may refer it to arbitration before a single practising Advocate, under the Arbitration Foundation of Southern Africa (AFSA) rules, appointed by the Johannesburg Society of Advocates. This clause does not apply to claims below USD 1,000, which either party may instead bring in the small claims or ordinary courts of their own jurisdiction.
  3. Nothing in this clause prevents either party from seeking urgent interim relief from a court of competent jurisdiction.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force at the time of your booking applies to that booking. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
